01Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website or placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and that you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part, please do not use the site or place an order.

02Orders

All orders placed through this site or over WhatsApp/phone are requests to buy, and are confirmed only after we call to verify quantity, pack size, delivery address, and payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example if an item is out of stock, if we suspect an error in pricing, or if we're unable to verify the order.

03Pricing & payment

Prices shown on the site are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We try to keep prices accurate but errors can occur; if we discover a pricing error after you've ordered, we'll contact you before proceeding. Payment must be completed as agreed at the time of order confirmation, through the payment method offered to you.

04Delivery

We ship across India through third-party courier and logistics partners. Delivery timelines shared at the time of order confirmation are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary due to courier delays, weather, festival rush, or circumstances beyond our control. Please make sure your delivery address and phone number are accurate — we are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect details provided by you.

05Cancellations & refunds

• Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they are dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible to request a cancellation.
• Because thekua is a fresh, fried food item, we cannot accept returns once an order has shipped.
• If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or significantly different from what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.
• Refunds, where applicable, are processed back to the original payment method within a reasonable time after approval.

06Nature of our products

Thekua is hand-stamped and fried in small batches, so minor variations in size, shape, colour, and shelf life between batches are normal and not a defect. Store in a cool, dry place and consume within the timeframe communicated at the time of order for best taste and quality.

07Allergens

Our products are made with wheat, jaggery, and ghee, and some varieties contain coconut, cashew, almond, or other nuts. All varieties are prepared in a shared kitchen, so trace cross-contact with nuts, dairy, and gluten is possible across all products. If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, please check the ingredients listed for each variety and contact us before ordering if you have any doubts.

08Use of this website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes, and not to attempt to disrupt its functioning, misuse the order form, or submit false information. We may suspend or restrict access for anyone who misuses the site.

09Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, recipes descriptions, photographs, logo, and design — belongs to Gur & Ghee unless otherwise stated, and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written permission.

10Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Gur & Ghee is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this site or from delays, unavailability of products, or courier issues. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian consumer protection law.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our operations or applicable law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version. Continuing to use the site or place orders after changes means you accept the updated terms.
